Geneva Welcomes Bike Trip for Kids Ride and Cookout
Sunday, August 21 at 2:00pm!
Join us for a free "Hots & Hams" cookout to greet and honor Doctors Dave Cywinski and Dan Alexander, and Tony Glosek, who work together at the Finger Lakes Bone and Joint Center! These three adventurous and generous men have been riding 2,500 miles across the country to raise money for the Seneca Babcock Community Center, and the Boys & Girls Club of Geneva. On Sunday, August 21st at 2:00pm, the Bike Trip will be coming through Geneva on the way to Canandaigua - and we would love to show the riders a big Boys & Girls Club welcome! Everyone is invited to meet the riders at the Goodman Street Club at 2:00pm (assembling at 1:30), and join them as they ride down North Street to the Community Center, where we will enjoy a cookout together before the riders depart for Canandaigua. Not interested in riding? Then just come to the Community Center around 2:00, and cheer for them as they come up the driveway. The Finger Lakes Radio Group will be on hand doing a live broadcast, and there will be free food for everyone!
We would love to show the riders as much support and encouragement as possible, so please stop by if you can!

The Geneva Community Center is just down the street from the Geneva high and middle schools. The 24,000 square feet Center was built by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Geneva on about 15 acres. It includes a full gymnasium, a lounge and crafts room for senior citizens, and lounge for teens, a game room, a performing arts space, an art room, a recording studio and more. The grounds are surrounded by almost of mile of walking trails, wetland pond areas, an athletic field, and will be a lovely park after a few years and the many trees and other plantings take hold. The Center is the site of the Boys & Girls Clubs teen center after-school, and is available to other groups and programs throughout the day and on the weekends.
